For the last five years, we have spent Labor Day hosting a Back to School Shoe Drive. While the event and our approach have evolved over the years, helping families in our community has been a constant focus. This tradition continued earlier this week as we held our 5th Annual Back to School Shoe Drive!
We were limited this year due to funding issues with all of the legal issues surrounding the appeals against Reese’s House, but we were still able to provide over 120 brand-new pairs of shoes to families in Millville and Cumberland County. We’d like to give a special thanks to Maurice House of Millville and Old Navy at the Cumberland Mall for sponsoring some of our families. We’d also like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our individual supporters who donated money and people who stepped up to sponsor families and purchase shoes for them from their own pockets. We cannot do this kind of work without your support and our organization and community appreciate it!
