Last Friday night, we had over 130 runners brave the cold and wind (about 38° and incredibly windy) and take to the streets of center city Millville for the 26th Annual Jolly Holly Run. About 100 individuals ran the 5k and more than 30 participated in the 1 mi Fun Run. Even through the cold and wind, racers of all age and skill levels had a blast, unless the smiles were just frozen to their face from the weather!

The race was also a huge boost to our two hosting organizations, Our Future First and Positive Vibes Community Group. Between sponsorships and race registrations, we were able to raise about $3,000 in profit that will be split between our two nonprofits to help support the work we do in our communities!

We’d also like to take a second to thank our volunteers and sponsors. Our volunteers were scattered around the course helping to direct traffic, assisting with our registration efforts (which the wind made extremely difficult!), and whatever else popped on on race night. They faced the same wind and cold that our runners did, but they were not moving around nearly as much. We could not have had this level of success without them!

As for our sponsors, they played a huge role in making the race a success for us financially. We try to make the runs affordable and our sponsors really help to offset our costs. Please see all of the sponsors listed below. If you are in the market for any of the services offered, check them out and consider patronizing them because they support our community.

We will be back next year, bigger and better than ever! We hope that you will run with us again or consider getting involved with the 27th Annual Jolly Holly Run in 2022!
