Things are starting to pick up for us and we could really use some help in making sure we are successful in the present and the future! This is why we are reaching out to ask you to get involved with our organization in a volunteer capacity!
In November, we have the Jolly Holly 5K Race and 1 mile Fun Race, which is a local tradition in our town of Millville. This will be our first year hosting the event and we are excited to bring people in our community back together. As this is our first year, we are looking for help in everything from fundraising and securing sponsors to race night help and everything else in between.
In December, we have our 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive that has grown over the last two years. Last year, we distributed over 400 toys to the youth in our community and we are looking to continue that upward trend this year. We will need help with fundraising, organizing requests, purchasing toys, and much more.
We are still working to get our programming in schools and communities, so we can use some help with that and building connections with schools and organizations in south Jersey. We’re also always fundraising for Reese’s House and we can use help with that as well.
As you can see, we have a lot coming up in the next few months and beyond. Additionally, we’re always looking for fresh ideas to help and assist in our communities so we’re open to suggestions.
